John Knox Village is a senior living community in Pompano Beach, FL. They’ve recently begun expanding their community and services with the goal of providing better quality of life for their residents and as a way to attract visitors from outside of the development. As part of their current expansion, JKV is developing a variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops on the west side of their campus. This specific venue, the Westlake Eatery will be a large, casual dining area offering a wide variety of food options from a handful of kiosks.

The sandwich shape of the logo allows people to quickly recognize this venue as a place to grab a quick bite. The patterns included within the logo are a nod to the vast variety of options provided within the Westlake Eatery — these can also be adapted into an eye-catching brand system, used in murals, menus, chair cushions, etc. The wordmark, color palette, and shapes all tie in to John Knox Village’s primary brand.

Early Concepts
